Dr. Levinbook has been welcoming patients to Your Smile Dental for more than 10 years. A former member of the Unites States Armed Forces, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967 and has been practicing dentistry for nearly three decades. Jerold loves golfing, and is the proud father of three adult children.
Dr. Grace Fraraccio received her undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University. She then went on to complete her dental school education at New York University, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005.
Dr. Fraraccio completed an externship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and a dental residency program at Jamaica Hospital. Her training enabled her to gain knowledge and experience treating both adults and pediatrics in all aspects of dentistry, including restorative, cosmetics, surgery and invisalign.
Dr. Fraraccio is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Nassau County Dental Association. She lives in Roslyn Long Island with her husband and 2 children.
Dr. Gavras earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at NYU College of Dentistry. She offers full spectrum dental services including preventative, restorative, periodontal, prosthodontic, endodontic, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also underwent special respiratory therapy training to help meet the needs of overwhelmed local hospitals.
Dr. Tamburro earned his doctor of dental medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Illinois. He brings a wide range of experiences to his role at Your Smile Dental of Lindenhurst, PLLC, from offering dental education to elementary school students, to tutoring undergraduates, to biomedical science research with applications for oral health and beyond.
With an array of skills in periodontics, restorative dental work, oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and more, patients seeking anything from a bi-annual checkup to a smile redesign can feel confident they are working with the very best. Dr. Tamburro lives in Dix Hills, NY.
Dr. Ryan Turner brings a wealth of expertise in periodontics and implant surgery to Your Smile Dental of Freeport, PLLC. A graduate of the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and member of their OKU National Dental Honor Society, Dr. Turner also served as an assistant clinical instructor and was Chief Resident in periodontics and implant surgery at the university.
As a board certified periodontist and implant surgeon, he specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases, as well as in the placement of dental implants, bone grafting, and oral reconstruction.
Dr. Turner is a member of several respected organizations, including being a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is certified in Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST) for gum rejuvenation and performs laser surgery. His research in the field of periodontics was awarded the famous Birnberg Research Award and has been published in a number of world-renown dental journals. He has lectured at various meetings and seminars in the field.
Dr. Jonathan M. Cohen was born and raised in Great Neck, NY. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with multiple honors. He then completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore LIJ, where he was able to gain more clinical exposure to all aspects of restorative dentistry, Dental Implantology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his general practice training, he went on to complete five years of residency in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and University Hospital, a Level One Trauma Center in Newark, NJ. During his last year of residency, he served as the Chief Resident. During that time he would perform the most complex procedures while having the opportunity to educate students and residents in both clinical and academic Oral Surgery. While training at Rutgers, Dr. Cohen twice received the patient advocacy award, recognized by the hospital for his gentle nature and excellence in patient care. Dr. Cohen has active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
